Recent Fellowships Won by Graduate Students

Our excellent graduate students have been on a roll winning fellowships this past semester!

Jarrett Chapin has been awarded an Andrew W. Mellon Foundation Native American Scholars Initiative (NASI) Predoctoral Fellowship at the American Philosophical Society (APS) Library & Museum.

Alison Thumel and Ajibola Tolase have both been awarded the Wallace Stegner Fellowship in Poetry at Stanford. These are considered the most prestigious and competitive fellowships in creative writing, with only five poets and five fiction writers selected each year from over 2,000 applicants.

Andrew Thomas has been chosen as a 20221-22 Dana-Allen Fellowship recipient by the IRH.

Congrats again to all!
