Bio:
I am a Ph.D. Student in English (Literary Studies) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, interested in Indian literatures with a focus on questions of representation and social justice. My current research builds on my earlier thesis, “Ways of Feeling: Evolving Expressions of Affect and Ethics in the Short Stories of Mahasweta Devi, 1951-2010,” completed during my MA in English at Manipal Centre for Humanities (2022). Prior to this, I earned a B.Sc. in Mathematics with Economics and Statistics from St. Xavier’s College (Autonomous), Kolkata (2020).
