Bio

Gabriel Lake Carter is a PhD Candidate in English with a concentration in Composition & Rhetoric and a minor in Science & Technology Studies. Carter’s dissertation project considers the ways in which anti-drug rhetoric inculcates drug stigma and how such stigmatization contributes to the prohibitionist ideology of the ongoing drug war in the United States.
