Bio
Theo is a PhD candidate in literary studies. Their dissertation combines historicist and formalist methods to examine the political uses of folk and fairy tales in colonized places in the long 19th century. It also explores how these uses of folk and fairy tales presage the politics of contemporary decolonial speculative/fantasy writing.
