@ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm

Join specialists from Learn@UW and our WAC Director Emily Hall for a panel exploring UW-Madison’s approved AI tools, including how these tools work, how they compare to other AI tools, and data and privacy issues. We will also explore ways to prompt AI and consider how students might be harnessing the technology for their writing assignments. This session is for you if you want to deepen your own AI literacy, if you are concerned about data and privacy or curious about how students are actively using AI in their writing process. A laptop is recommended if you wish to try the techniques along with the demo, though no tech use is required to gain insight from this session. This session is sponsored by the English 100 program. All are welcome! RSVP here to help us plan for refreshments and seating.
