Jenny Conrad’s newest poetry chapbook, This Natal House, described by one reviewer as “a knocking interrogation of early motherhood and bodily agency,” appeared from Harbor Editions on April 24.
Ramzi Fawaz recently published two research articles: “Tripping on Mushrooms with Edward Said: The Case for Literary Studies as Holistic Medicine” in an issue of South Atlantic Quarterly he edited on “Psychedelic Imaginaries” and “Webbed Attachments: Psychedelic Lessons from the Multiverse” published in Theory & Event.
This summer (June 23-27) Prof. Fawaz will be teaching a 5-day seminar at the Esalen Institute titled “Thinking Like a Multiverse: Embracing a Diverse World.” Fellowships are available for some participants. Prof. Fawaz recently recorded an episode of the Voices of Esalen podcast, which you can access here.
Shuta Kiba’s article “Erasmus Darwin and the Biopolitics of the Vital Habit” just came out in the new issue of Studies in Romanticism.
