Amadi Ozier has been awarded a 2024-25 Schomburg Fellowship through the Scholars-in-Residence Program at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture of the New York Public Library to conduct archival research for Ozier’s book project on humor and the development of the black middle class in the 1890s and 1900s.
