Erin Polnaszek Boyd has been honored with a College of Letters and Sciences Early Career Academic Advising Award for her exemplary performance both in terms of her positive impact on students and through her contributions to the English Department. Hired just as the pandemic was forcing the campus into remote operations and instruction, Erin was tasked with, in addition to advising a full slate of undergraduates, learning the Wisconsin Scholarship Hub (WiSH) software to administer scholarships for the English Department. She was also instrumental in establishing a review committee for a new scholarship named for longtime academic advisor Chris Hedrick Logterman.
