Bio
My name is Lulu Jin, and I am a second-year master’s student in Applied English Linguistics. My academic interests are centered around Second Language Acquisition, particularly the transfer from Chinese (L1) to English (L2). This fascinating field allows me to explore the complexities of language acquisition, where cognition, culture, and pedagogy intersect. Additionally, through my current studies, I have developed a strong interest in language development and the nuances of communication, which drives my interest in communication disorders and speech-language pathology. With a deep appreciation for linguistic diversity and the profound impact of language on people’s lives, I look forward to furthering my research, expanding my horizons, and collaborating with fellow scholars in language acquisition and communication disorders.
