Publications and Awards

Amaud Jamaul Johnson is the author of two poetry collections, Darktown Follies (Tupelo 2013) and Red Summer (2006). A former Wallace Stegner Fellow in Poetry at Stanford University, Robert Frost Fellow at the Bread Loaf Writers' Conference, and Cave Canem Fellow, his honors include a Pushcart Prize, the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award, the Edna Meudt Book Award, and the Dorset Prize.  His work has appeared in Southern Review, Harvard Review, Crazyhorse, Narrative Magazine, and elsewhere.
