Roundtable: Alumni Speaker Series

This is the Teaching Forum’s first alumni speaker series event on March 26th from 3:30 – 4:30 pm in 6172 Helen C. White (see flyer). The speakers will be Maggie Black (Assistant Professor at Southern Illinois University, Edwardsville, Comp Rhet, ’18), Leah Misemer (Assistant Director of the Communication Center at Georgia Institute of Technology, Lit Studies, ’16), and Stephanie Larson (Assistant Professor of Rhetoric at Carnegie Mellon, Comp Rhet, ’18).
These speakers will join us via Skype to discuss their experiences with teaching at different institutions, preparing teaching portfolios for the job market, translating teaching experience into alt-ac careers, and other aspects of career development.
